The China Import and Export Fair (Canton Fair), founded on April 25, 1957, is held in Guangzhou every spring and autumn, jointly sponsored by the Ministry of Commerce and the People's Government of Guangdong Province, and undertaken by China Foreign Trade Center. It is a comprehensive international trade event with the longest history, the highest level, the largest scale, the most complete product categories, the largest number of buyers, the widest distribution of countries and regions, and the best transaction results in China, and is known as "China's first exhibition".

Canton Fair trade methods are flexible and diverse, in addition to the traditional sample transaction, but also held online trade fairs. The Canton Fair is mainly engaged in export trade and import business. It can also carry out various forms of economic and technological cooperation and exchanges, as well as business activities such as commodity inspection, insurance, transportation, advertising and consulting. Canton Fair Exhibition Hall is located in Pazhou Complex, Guangzhou, with a total floor area of 1.1 million square meters, indoor exhibition hall area of 338,000 square meters, outdoor exhibition area of 43,600 square meters.

The Canton Fair Pavilion has four phases, starting from the 132nd Canton Fair (i.e., the Autumn Fair 2022) to put into use, after the completion of the Canton Fair Pavilion exhibition area of 620,000 square meters, has become one of the world's largest exhibition complex. Among them, the indoor exhibition area is 504,000 square meters, and the outdoor exhibition area is 116,000 square meters.

The 134th Canton Fair will be held in Guangzhou from October 15 to November 4, 2023.
